i am willing to open a bvusiness of my own don`t know what business i should go, and how much is my stateing capital
Jon Oraña says
Hi Miranda.
I have several podcast recording and I’m pretty sure it will help you find the right business for you.
Be specific on what you want this business to give you. The clearer you are, the better.

im about to attend a seminar about Perfume Making. I am certain that I can sell my products but i want to know if this business is worth for leaving my work?
Jon Oraña says
Hi Marissa.
Sometimes, the only missing recipe to business success is “faith.”
In business, you have to realize that uncertainty will always be there. We can’t predict or see the future. We will never be.
Will this business is the right one so you can escape your 9 to 5 job? I don’t know. Nobody knows.
My advice is take the leap of faith, give your best, and see what will happen.
Truth is, you’ll never know what’s gonna happen unless you take the first step.
marissa guilas says
Thank You very much for your reply. You are right i will not know the answer if i don’t take the courage to take the first step. I’m very much afraid to take the risk that’s why i was stuck with my job. my salary is fixed but my family’s needs is very much higher than i earned.
Jon Oraña says
Remember this, It’s normal to be afraid. It’s how we are designed. As long you make fear as friend and not foe.
I have fears too but I don’t let it paralyzes me though.
Consider what you’ll lose if you fail.
Then consider what you’ll gain if you’ll succeed. How much your life and lives of your loved ones will change.

You have great ideas sir Jon, you’re business ideas are very relevant to the following quote in tagalog of a person on how to succeed without these things as reads below:
“May mga matalino pero hindi hindi marunong, may mga marunong pero hindi nakakaintindi, may mga nakakaintindi pero hindi nakaka-unawa, may mga nakaka-unawa pero hindi magaling at madiskarte, may mga magaling at madiskarte pero hindi nagtatagumpay, may mga nagtatagumpay pero hindi matalino.”

Now I know that there are many intelligent people but lacking of intellectual acuity or ability to resolve fine detail.
Mac says
Really really true. Many intelligent or smart people do not understand simple things. Even honor college students or top bar lawyers and highly elected government officials are they same. They are very smart people but they do not know how to understand simple things in this world.
Thanks Nelson (NPM) for your quote now I absolutely understand what is all about.
