Hello. Good day!
I closely listened to this podcast. I’m also still working under a corporate company and I totally argee to every point that was raised in the conversation. It’s also really inspiring to hear about Mr. Villafuerte’s success in his businesses and blogs.
I am seriously considering getting a course about programming while still working on my day job. Maybe then, if I still get inspired to continue blogging, I will do blogging fulltime and also work part-time as a programmer. 🙂
I’m also really interested in putting up my own business.
Thanks for your site! 🙂

What if the capital is not enough to make or start a business?
Jon Oraña says
Hi Arjay.
I know it’s a common concern to aspiring Entrepinoy but I believe that if you REALLY wanted it enough, you’ll find a way.
In tagalog, “Kung gusto may paraan, kung ayaw may dahilan.”
Don’t let capital prevent you achieving your dreams in life. You only have one life and so you better make the most of it.
If you can show to people how they can make money by investing in your idea, there are a lot of people will be willing to give you money.

Hi Jon,
I am still working in the corporate. I am currently pregnant with our first child and would want to start business because I want to have more free time to raising my family.
Kindly guide me through on how to start and how to harness my strengths so that I can use them to my advantage in putting up my business. I don’t have much capital. In fact, I only have Php 10k in my savings. I am also planning to do the forex trading. I met Sir Fitz when I attended financial literacy seminar that was organized by my previous employer, Emerson Electric Asia. He was really good. And just like my colleagues we have fears doing on our own outside the corporate world.
I have so many ideas, but don’t know how to start. So I really need your help and advise on how to trim down my options esp. with my current situation being pregnant on my first trimester.
Thank you very much. God bless us!

Hi Sir Jon, good day!
I have listened to not all, but some of your podcast, read your mails and tips on how to become a cautious entrepreneur, have your book and etc.
While employed sir nagawa kong mag asikaso para makakuha ng license for construction or sa madaling sabi, maging licensyadong contructor. Ngayon for releasing na ang license. Ginawa ko ito Sir Jon kasi my father is in construction industry din, and I have also two close friends in same industry that happens to become may partners in this. We already had an agreement with this regards. They’re all based in our province, Romblon.
Plano ko Sir Jon na mag focus sa business na to together with my partners, and may father also as our guide. After releasing the license sir, there is a bid for a certain project and we win in that bid, nice move kaya na iwanan ko na ang present work ko to focus in construction business? If not Sir ano ang gagawin mo incase you’re in my situation. Your insight lang Sir regarding this.
Thank you and more power to you and your family.
