Well, maybe hindi lahat gustong yumaman. They want a simple life living in a simple home and that’s all right.
No problem.
But the problem is, every year, the purchasing power of your money weakens. In short, ung dating nabibili mo lang ng isang daang piso noon, ngayon P150 na.
And every year, your buying power as consumer weakens even more. We call it inflation.
Your salary can’t catch up.
According to a recent study, salary increases 4% every year on average. The inflation is between 2%-3% every year.
Lamang ka lang ng 1%. Yun e kung may increase ka
That’s why you’re struggling to make ends meet. You’re trying to save money but they simply don’t work. Tumataas lahat maliban sa height mo.
You’d like to get a health or life insurance but then, di talaga kasya.
That’s the BIG problem for most people living pay check to pay check.
For most, what they’ll do is work even harder to hopefully things will change. Yung tipong kahit di na matulog kung pwede lang.
But then again, things are not changing for the better.
Instead, lalong lumalaki ang utang. Dumadami ang bayarin. Nagmamahalan ang bilihin.
What are you going to do?
Then your officemate asks you to join a new “business opportunity”. Pioneering ka.
They’re registered sa SEC, DTI, Baranggay, City Hall, pati sa planet Mars registered din sila.
Marami ng naging milyonaryo sa kanila. Power!
May dating taxi driver. Dating OFW. Dating security guard. Mga di nakapag tapos ng pag aaral. Lahat sila naging milyonaryo.
E kapos ka sa pera…
So, sumali ka naman. Besides, P3,000 lang magiging milyonaryo ka na.
Until you realized that you must recruit friends, relatives, neighbors and be part of this pyramiding scheme.
Lahat ng upline mo umaasenso, nanalo ng award sa stage, pero ikaw…
Sky flakes at tuna pa din lunch mo.
After a while, you’ll realize only 2% of the pyramid are making money. They’re getting rich from your efforts. But you?
You’re still stuck in the same situation. Sahod, bayad ng bills at bayad ng utang. Kapos pa din sa pera.
Then, tumawag naman ung bayaw mo.
Pwede ka daw mag pa-alaga ng biik. Piggery business. Magbigay ka lang ng pera at sila na magpapa laki ng biik.
Pag naging baboy na…
Bebenta nyo then share kayo sa profits.
And then, months after, magkakasakit ung biik. Mamamatay. Or hihingi pa ng pera ung nagaalaga para sa feeds.
E ano naman ang alam mo sa piggery business, so you give them money.
Months after, wala ka ng feedback from your investment. Again, nawala na naman ang investment mo, nasayang oras mo, umasa ka sa wala…
Pauwi ka galing sa office nag Uber ka.
Then you read sa Facebook how much people are making money from Uber. The business must be good.
Naka brand-new car ka na, may kita ka pa. Pag Sunday, you have a nice car for your family to use.
Sosyal, naka kotse.
30 days after, kailangan mo ng mag hulog sa car loan mo. Na leche na.
Palabas lahat ng pera sa gas, toll gate, pocket money, and maintenance. Kailangan pala you need to drive at least 12 hours a day to make money from this. Taxi driver talaga peg mo.
Few months after, pagod ka na sa pagda-drive. Masarap pang nasa office ka na lang.
Well, naka utang ka na sa bank e. Mahirap na umatras. Pride na pinag uusapan dito. Pinost mo na brand-new car mo sa Facebook.
In short, you have a car but you have a big loan and you’re still stuck in the same rat race.
Trabaho, sahod, bayad utang, trabaho, sahod, bayad utang…
OK. Enough of these stories.
What I just shared with you are the same stories I keep hearing from my subscribers.
They’ve invested time and money in many businesses promising them a better life.
But they NEVER invested on themselves. They can afford to buy a nice gadget but buying a P500 book is TOO expensive.
Where in fact, it’s more expensive to NOT invest in your own education. All the time and money you’ve wasted because you didn’t invest on how to become better at what you do.
That’s why I started blogging about business in 2012. To help you and others to get an education that traditional schools can’t give you.
Now, it’s 2017.
Are you going to have the same old “failure” stories like everyone else? Or are you going to finally educate yourself and change the direction of life and experience freedom.

I am Antonio; maried with 2kids and presently living here in Baguio City Benguet and I started to build my own business as Viva Training and Business Consultancy since 2014 but it doesn’t moving forward because I am lacked of monetary budget to finance the operations of my business.
Although, I have some clients coming in before for the past 3years but I don’t see my fulfilment that’s why I tried to venture into other business and I am now on my full time job and employed as the Operation Manager and likewise doing some business developer officer and the likes.

Unless our mind steps out from the realm of lackness and want. Unless our mind creates a definite chief aim to get out of debt. We won’t be able press on the discipline necessary to get out of debt.
Unless we humble & accept within ourselves that we are at first financially illiterate although we have professions, we remain arrogant & there’s no room to learn and unlearn.

sir jon i have been into many networking business but hindi sinwerte. ngayon po may kung ano-anong tinda ako, from cosmetics, watches, bags at rtw, ok lang naman ako sa maliit na kita kahit buong araw na pagod kakameet up nung mga bumibili at least consistent yung kita! pero ofcourse po i want to earn more that’s why im very eager to learn po, pra hindi rin po parating ubos buong araw ko sa kakameet up, gusto ko po yung may freedom din.. thanks in advance po!

Jon nakakabilib ang mga nabasa ko sa mga komento pa lang ng mga nagreply sa iyo…21 years na po akong nagtuturo sa pribadong paaralan. nakapg-asawa nagkaanak limang babae… namatayan ng asawa, nasunugan ng bahay, nagkasakit ang mga magulang… napakadami ng utang, walang gadget na matino, walang pangload….hay naku pasensys na po…dito ko pa nilabas mga problema ko. Sa madaling salita ako ang problema…Di marunong magbudget, laging kinukulang…mas malaki ang expenses kaysa sa kinikita, typical na single mom. One of this day… tututukan kita! Hi Jon, grateful having people like you who gave inspiration and touch the lives of other people like me. Maybe my longing looking for business online leads me and meet you…I am a former OFW for 26 years and in fact settled 30 yrs. out there and raise a family. Since then, I realized to invest my portion of income to my kids in educational plan and in no time it works and three of them completed their University free. Both of them are working now. What am going to emphasize here is yes it is our dream to educate our children and earned a degree and find good job. But my true self reality is to find my own business, have time with them now they are adults and maybe if given more years I can mingle with my grandsons and daughter to be. And time will come, my wife and I can invite them all in an occasion that we are all together in which I was not able to provide them before. Thank you Jon for showing me the window of opportunity of being free.

Yes, I’ve been working in the corporate world for 37 years. During those years, i tried 3 part time business which were capital intensive but unfortunately, hindi nag make good, I ended up with big amounts of debt. It’s a good thing I’m still employed, I was able to recover. I just compulsorily retired from my employment and at first, I believed I have enough already because I have insurance plans, and real estate investments but i still have to continue paying my premiums for my insurance plans, monthly amortizations for one of my real estate investments, HMOs , etc. I thought of finding the best use of these real estate investments for me to have added income but it’s easier said than done. I’m so thankful to come across of the email of Jon, thus it gave me an enlightenment and hope to start anew.
