Nancy Binay? Weh Di Nga?
Election is done. Winners were declared. We have new set of senators.
I’ll be honest, I lost track of who is credible who is not sa Pinas.
In my Facebook account though, I saw some posts against the candidacy of now senator Nancy Binay.
Like her or not millions of Filipinos voted for her.
I’m telling you this to highlight something important that you need to know.
And that is, there are things in life that you can and you can’t control.
You can influence who will be the next president but you can’t control who will win.
You may campaign for someone to be your next Barangay Captain but if that person will win or not is beyond your control.
The point is, you should focus your time, money, and energy on something that you can control.
That’s why having your own business is better than being a slave employee because you have control on how much money you will make.
In large corporation specially, there are salary brackets.
Meaning, if both of us are call center agent from the same company we will have the same salary even if you work twice as hard.
You’re at the mercy of your boss.
Remember, the responsibility of your boss is to give you a job not to make you rich.
Starting today plan and work your plan to escape the corporate world.
Freedom will not come to you. You have to chase it to own it.
Is Your Business Idea A Bad Idea?
How would you know if your business idea is worth pursuing?
I would like to focus on one criterion which is “income.”
Many aspiring EntrePinoys start a business without giving serious thought on how much money they would like to make from their start up business.
So they start a business which makes very little money if not just breaking even.
Wasted time. Wasted efforts. Wasted money.
My point is, you want to be as specific as possible of the amount of money you’re expecting to make from your business idea.
Is it P100,000? Is it P80,000? How much?
Let’s say you decided to make an extra P50,000 a month.
Ask yourself “Kikita ba ito ng ganung kalaki buwan buwan?” “May kumikita ba ng ganung kalaki sa business na ito?”
If not, then it’s not worth pursuing it.
I don’t care how cheap and easy to start that business is.
I don’t care how popular that type of business is.
Remember, you will not start a business because you just want to.
You want to start a business so you can make money…lots of money.
Money that will enrich your life and the life of your loved ones.
Money that will give you peace of mind and security.
Money that will give you FREEDOM to do what you love to do.
So ask yourself…“Magkano ba ang gusto kong kitain sa negosyong itatayo ko?”

Rich Entrepinoy’s Secret To Success
I was asked…”Sir, pano ba magsimula ng negosyo? Parang ang hirap.”
First, anyone who says starting a business is easy is a liar.
Kung madali then most people are entrepreneurs.
Kung madali kumita ng pera e di lahat tayo mayaman na.
Right?
Business building and wealth creation requires certain skills.
And like most skills it will take some time to develop.
The key is you must stick to it no matter how hard it is.
Let me ask you this…
Do you know how to play a guitar? If not, have you at least once tried to play a guitar?
You can probably still remember how difficult it is in the beginning.
Masakit sa kamay, kalyo sa daliri, patay na tunog. It’s not easy.
But once your guitar skill has been developed, you can now play pretty much all the songs that you want.
It’s the same principle in business building and wealth creation.
This is the reason why the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
The rich understands this wealth formula:
P + RS = S
Perseverance + Right Skills = Success.
Listen, you can blame the government and the corrupt system all you want but that won’t make you rich.
Besides, those are outside of your control. Blaming never changed anything.
Develop the necessary skills for your business and stick to it.
Mind your OWN business.
Soon, we will meet at the top celebrating our success.
